Dinner meets culinary theatre with dishes made to order on a teppanyaki grill. The lively, joyful atmosphere and izakaya-inspired menu skews to skewered and handheld bites, making this a family favorite. But the chefs’ devotion to show stopping presentations, rare cuts of meat, heirloom vegetables, and hand-crafted cocktails ensure an unforgettable evening for gastronomes of all ages.

In honor of our beautiful surroundings, Ukai — named for an ancient sustainable fishing method in Japan — serves exquisitely prepared fresh sushi with minimal environmental impact. Our head chef is committed to sourcing from local fishermen and suppliers who share our belief that food should be both a pleasure for the palate and a force for positive change.

A perfect day in Tulum begins at Arbolea where our abundant breakfast buffet includes American classics as well as chilaquiles, tamales, traditional Mexican breads and pastries, freshly pressed green juices and local fruit. The bartenders at this cozy, cenote-inspired bar just off the main lobby specialize in Mexican distillates and share their expertise with guests through guided agave tastings. Named for the Mayan god of rain and abundance, this is also a place where carefully crafted cocktails with local terroir flow freely.

Located at the heart of the resort, by day, our pool bar is a breezy place to refresh with cocktails or a light lunch. By night, it transforms into a sultry Caribbean open air lounge that entices with live music, laidback energy, creative tropical drinks and premium Mexican spirits.
