Hospitably Luxurious: A Mom-and-Daughters Trip to Conrad Tulum
Watching my mom’s face was the absolute best. Seeing her, mouth agape, walking around the lobby and filming every inch of the DÃa de los Muertos decorations, I just knew we were in for a treat during our five-day stay. And boy, were we ever.
It was a busy check-in, as a high-profile guest was arriving with a large group, but we barely noticed the difference in service. I had accidentally booked a king room, and when I asked for two queens instead, the team didn’t hesitate—they whisked us away on a golf cart to relax in a room while they accommodated our request.
The rest of the trip was exactly this way. We were treated like a queen and her princess, entertained by all the team members 24/7—they’re all so kind, hilariously funny, and will spoil you absolutely rotten.
The photos on the website and social media, while gorgeous, do not do the property justice. Every inch is thoughtfully designed, no detail overlooked, and the aesthetic is sustainably sexy from corner to corner. The food is unbelievably good—fresh fruits, breads, meats, and fish. The menus at the 11 outlets are playful, offer great variety, and range in price so you can dine on a budget or truly splurge.
The spa is transformative in every way. You will feel physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually lifted while there—and long after. It is OM. The aestheticians are magicians. The combination of a dry sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and sensation shower is a game-changer.
You may not even recognize yourself after a trip to Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya—and I mean that in the best way possible. A sky full of stars isn’t enough stars. Just go.
Signed with longing to come back,
Nicole Sharpe
